Are you as excited as me that @shakeshacksg is finally in Singapore? Is it worth waiting 45 minutes in the line for this? I'm not sure if this is as good as the original one in New York...
I was there early in the morning at Jewel Changi... I think it was around 1 hour after their opening and the queue was insanely long then. Saw people queueing with their luggage too. I was handed this small burger card and only those who have this can enter the restaurant area. Once you have ordered your meal, you get a buzzer to go back to collect when ready. I believe I was lucky to only queue for around 45 minutes while other people queue for more than an hour which was insanely long.
Coming from a humble background in Manhattan, The iconic Shake Shack has grown to become this mega burger chain. Jewel Changi is their first flagship outlet in Singapore.

Shake Shack has recently opened a new outlet at the already bustling Suntec city! A very good addition to the eateries there I must say. Along with the new opening is the addition of the award-winning Shackmeister burger which has the inclusion of fried shallots which makes the yummy Shack burgers much more fragrant. Not only do they have it on burgers, so does the hot dog buns and cheese fries. The limited-edition ShackMeister menu will be available exclusively at Suntec City outlet from Sep 30. This can be found at all other outlets in Singapore for a limited run till Nov 16.

ShakeMeister Burger, $10.90 for a single patty
The Shackmeister burger features 100% all-natural Angus beef cheeseburger with crispy Shackmeister Ale-marinated shallots and Shack sauce. The shallots are marinated using the Shackmeister Ale first before coated in a mix of flour, cayenne pepper, and paprika before being deep-fried till crunchy. Couldn't taste the ale in the shallots but they were quite fragrant when it was brought close to me. They also add a crunch quite different from the other burgers that Shake Shack offers.
ShakeMeister Cheese Fries, $5.90
Their signature crinkle-cut fries, drenched in cheese sauce plus a huge pile of shallots.
What you should order:
I ordered the classic ShackBurger 🍔(S$9.20/Single, S$12.90/Double), Crinkle-cut cheese fries 🍟(S$5.90, S$4.50 without cheese), and the Singapore exclusive Pandan Shake(S$7.80).
The ShackBurger consisting a cooked patty of 100% all-natural Angus beef, lettuce, tomato, and signature ShackSauce, placed inside a potato bun. Tender and juicy beef with soft potato bun.
The Pandan Shake is frozen Vanilla custard blended with pandan, coconut, and topped with gula Melaka crumble. The pandan flavor comes through strong with the coconut flavor being an after-taste. As this is SUPER concentrated, you are advised to order this to share. lol
The crinkle-cut cheese fries were so good leh! Fried to a golden color with just the right amount of saltiness and those cheese on top couldn't be any better! Wish there was more cheese though.
I would say these are definitely worth the price!
