A LOVELY EVENING SPENT WITH FRIENDS

Finally posting about our weekend with @lovefoodlove3
Chilling at her house with some Moscato D'Asti. I am not a wine person but I gotta say 👍👍👍. Fruity and slightly sweet with light carbonation. Low alcohol content and is considered a dessert wine. Good for someone like me.
Good start to a good feasting session.












We got the blow torch out to torch 🔥 the yummy mentaiko sauce that's drizzled on those fresh scallops! Scallops were baked with cheese on top and finally topped with tobiko!


























I and Fiona also got to eat half of a whole lobster each! omg, serene is so generous! I think she served us Boston Lobster? The lobster meat was fresh, evident from being easily peeled off the shell.

Each of us has a plate of rice with this delicious broth with lobster and abalone meat. She really went all out. ^^;






Nailed the perfect medium well on a monster bone-in Tomahawk steak! Juicy and tender on the inside and nicely charred on the outside. My first time eating this too.


Rounding off the evening with the same broth used for the lobster with these sizeable abalone ingots. Very well-cooked with a crunchy texture.
