REVIEW: 212 TEOCHEW CUISINE - TEOCHEW JING TAI LAN STEAMBOAT?!

212 Teochew Cuisine
Famous for their Teochew Cuisine, 212 Teochew Cuisine brings the traditional art of Jing Tai Lan to us in the form of a steamboat that was intricately decorated on the surface.

Jing Tai Lan refers to a technique for decorating metal objects, using a combination of painting, sculpturing, metalwork, gemstone setting, and glass work.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Met some foodies friends during the CNY period for this. We also had the yu sheng for lo hei that day. They're not only selling the fish head steamboat, they also had the usual tze char dishes as well as dim sum. This restaurant is open 24/7 so this would be a great place for supper!

The fish head steamboat was light at first but was flavorful gradually as the red snapper fish slices and vegetables were added. The additional of yam cubes and sour plum elevated the flavors and reflected their authenticity in bringing real teochew cuisines to their customers. A tad pricey from $65 onward but worth sharing with like-minded friends and families!
