REVIEW: GOOD YEAR LOCAL HAINANESE CHICKEN RICE BALLS

No need to go to Melaka for chicken rice balls coz... Singapore has them too! This shop is just one the few shops in SG that sells them. I have never tried the ones in Melaka so my review is solely based on what available here. lol Tbh, this feels like chicken rice onigiri. haha

Good Year Local is located in a coffee shop at Toa Payoh Lorong 1 and within the vicinity of Braddell MRT. The coffee shop can get quite crowded at times. We ordered chicken breast meat and drumstick to go with a plate of rice and the iconic rice balls that defines this stall. The rice is aromatic and not too oily. Just nice!

 If you have been craving rice balls from Malacca, here's the shop that will satisfy those cravings!! The rice balls is served in a plate and is rolled into a huge tennis ball size ball. The texture is sticky and clumpy. I guess it has to be like this if not it's not gonna stay in shape! This is just chicken rice but rolled into a ball la. Does not amaze me at all .. coz i still prefer a normal plate of rice. ^^;
