Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting a friend to explore a unique café tucked away in an unexpected location - a church! Yes, you heard it right. This café is situated within the confines of a church and is run by the church's own members.

Upon stepping inside, I was greeted by a simplistic yet inviting interior. There were no flashy decorations or extravagant furnishings, just a cozy atmosphere that felt like a warm embrace. The café exuded a sense of tranquility, providing a welcome escape from the bustling city outside.

As we perused the menu, one dish caught my eye - the salmon arrabbiata. Being a fan of spicy food, I decided to give it a try. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The dish was packed with generous chunks of succulent salmon, perfectly complemented by the fiery heat of the arrabbiata sauce. The pasta was cooked al dente, adding a satisfying texture to each bite. It's definitely a must-try for those who enjoy a bit of spice in their meals.

Meanwhile, my friend opted for the chicken curry rice. Although we initially wanted to sample the beef stew, unfortunately, it was already sold out. Nevertheless, the chicken curry rice proved to be a comforting and flavorful choice, showcasing the chef's skill in crafting homely yet delicious dishes.

To wash down our meals, we decided to indulge in the iced lemon tea, which was available for an additional dollar. Refreshing and zesty, it provided the perfect balance to the bold flavors of our dishes.

One of the highlights of the café was the presence of board games, offering a fun and interactive way to pass the time. It's a great option for groups of friends looking to unwind and enjoy each other's company over a leisurely game.

  2. Not all churches are alike, and if you aren’t aware of that fact, all you need to do is attend one church on a given week, and then another church the next week. Find the best Church in Suffolk Virginia.
