Osaka June 2016 5 days 4 nights Itinerary - Day 4 Pt 1 (Shinsekai & Tsutenkaku Tower)

Day 4:

It was a good day as I made my way to Shinsekai. I walked all the way from my hotel to my destination since it didn't freaking rained at all.

Not sure why i chose to come here... i have contemplated the most about this place, having read that it is not that safe here but.. i was here in the morning and its like a ghost town here. Not sure how it is at night so if you better not come alone.  Come in groups at night. Everywhere looks old here altogether, even the tower. Shinsekai (新世界) is Osaka's "new world," a district that was developed before the war and then neglected in the decades afterwards. That is probably why this place is not like the more populated area like Namba or Umeda? At the district's center stands Tsutenkaku Tower, the nostalgia evoking symbol of Shinsekai.  There's nothing much here worth seeing except the tower.

The entrance to the tower! Very colorful~

They have these beautiful images in the lift that changes over time.

The view from the tower! :) Couldn't have reached earlier.... no sun rise. xD

Not sure what's this but it everywhere around the tower....

Takoyaki hello kitty!

they even have glico man here. XD

Is this how it is suppose to look like during winter?

Oh KARA was here before, now that's really nostalgic as they have already disbanded. :/

And then i ordered this as i haven't had any breakfast. They have a small cafe inside that sells meals and deserts. Nepolitan pasta is yummy, even though i saw him heating up a pre packed pasta. Guess that was what he served me.
