REVIEW: Guide to Cafes in Everton Park

1) The Provision Shop

Address: Block 3 Everton Park #01-79
Opening hours: Mon to Sat: 11.30am – 9pm
Sun: 9am – 6pm

Our first stop is at The provision shop! Provision shop means 杂货店 in Chinese.
I order a cup of latte and i like it. It is not bitter and overly strong in taste.
I wanted to have a main dish first before i explore the coffee shops around the area so I ordered Their traditional carbonara pasta. It is written on their menu that their pasta is in-house made.
I feel that the overall dish is too dry and they should be more generous with their sauce.
The additional of raw egg into the dish made the pasta taste weird.
I should try their egg benedict next time!
It gets fairly crowded during noon time.

2) Nylon coffee Roasters

Address: 4 Everton Park #01-40
Opening hours: Mon to Fri: 8.30am – 5.30pm
Sat & Sun: 9am – 6pm

I read somewhere that they have only 3 seats in the whole shop. True enough.. there is a long table with NO SEATS and at the side there are 3 chairs with 1 small table in between. I think the place is meant for people to grab a quick coffee and rush off somewhere. As you can see, the cup is quite small. There are also different sizes of cup you can choose from.

Coffee is no doubt one of the best i had that day.

3) Cozy Corner Coffee

Address: Block 4 Everton Park #01-50
Opening hours: 8.30am – 7.30pm

This place is surprisingly empty!! They have power sockets and free wifi which makes it good for students/adults to work or chill with their friends. I feel like the whole place had minimum lighting. Will be better if it is brighter. It makes the whole place much more livelier.

4) Just Want Coffee

Address: #01-27 1 Everton Park
Opening Hours:Mon to Thu: 8.30am – 6.30pm
Fri & Sat: 9am – 8.30pm

Last stop is Just want Coffee! I read that this shop originated from Malaysia and this shop is their first shop in Singapore. How cool is that?!

I ate their carrot cake. It is moist and yummy! The cake is kind of big in size too so its worth the money. I did not like the ice brew coffee though. Too bitter for my liking.

There is something unique about that coffee though. The glass that you drink from is designed in such a way that the bottom is pointy so you can spin the glass. Not sure if it is to allow you to spin when you are mixing the coffee? You can add whichever amount of coffee, ice, milk and sugar you want to suit your own taste.
